“Health Care Value Week will continue to build on critical momentum to expand opportunities for group practices to voluntarily participate in value-based care arrangements. In a 2021 MGMA survey, 80% of members stated that Medicare does not offer an advanced alternative payment model that is clinically relevant to their practice. It is critical for all healthcare stakeholders, leaders, and government officials to engage in this important conversation to develop a strategy to ensure that medical groups have the opportunity, incentives, reimbursement and flexibility to participate in value-based care arrangements.”
