    Dr. Dany Dominguez Perez is a seasoned healthcare professional with a unique blend of clinical expertise and technological innovation. As the Vice President of Clinical Analytics and Population Health at NextGen Healthcare, he leads the clinical side of the enterprise data warehouse and spearheads the development of analytics for insights as a service.

    With a medical degree from Cuba and specializations in Family Medicine and Internal Medicine, Dr. Dominguez has practiced clinical medicine across four countries. His experience includes two years treating HIV patients in Africa and a year-long medical mission in South America. While practicing in Cuba, he taught Neuroscience to pre-med students, further honing his skills in medical education.

    For over a decade, Dr. Dominguez has been deeply involved in Population Health Management, leveraging data to produce meaningful and actionable insights. Prior to his current role, he led the NextGen Community Health Collaborative (NCHC), where he was responsible for realizing NextGen's vision of offering data benchmarking, comparative analytics, and reporting services. The collaborative provided a forum for members to connect and share best practices, advancing the mission of community health.

    Dr. Dominguez was also instrumental in launching Eagle Dream Health, which later became the Population Health Solution after NextGen Healthcare's acquisition. This experience further solidified his expertise in developing innovative healthcare solutions.

    Dr. Dominguez's extensive clinical and technical background provides a unique perspective on healthcare delivery. He dedicates his time to helping providers, care teams, and organizations navigate the challenges and opportunities in modern healthcare, armed with data-driven insights and a comprehensive understanding of the field.
