Due to the rapidly evolving and increasingly complex landscape of the health care environment, more physicians are opting for health system employment versus the traditional private practice model than at any other time in history.  This shift in employment and governance presents real challenges in building and maintaining physician engagement.  This paper seeks to offer a framework for fostering engagement of employed physicians.
