American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE)
As the certifying body of MGMA, ACMPE has been delivering professional development opportunities based on the Body of Knowledge for Medical Practice Management since 1956.
The Body of Knowledge for medical practice management is based on the job analysis of the various demographics of today’s healthcare administration industry, evaluating competencies of the domains: Operations Management, Financial Management, Human Resources Management, Transformative Healthcare Delivery, Risk and Compliance, and Organizational Governance.
Based on the MGMA-ACMPE Body of Knowledge, ACMPE offers credentialing opportunities at all levels through education and training in certificates, demonstrating knowledge and skills already possessing in Board Certification, and the highest achievement of Fellowship.
ACMPE opportunities may be completed at the student and early careerist level without holding membership for a specific amount of time.
