      Perry Payne, Jr., MD, JD ,MPP is a health insurance specialist at CMS currently serving as a co-model lead for the Direct Contracting model at the CMS Innovation Center. In addition to working at CMS, Perry teaches multiple courses as an adjunct professor at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences and School of Public Health, where he worked prior to coming to CMS. He is a graduate of Duke University School of Medicine, George Washington University Law School and the Duke University School of Public Policy.
