About Oraida Roman

Based out of Colorado Springs, Colo., Oraida Roman serves as vice president, value-based strategies, at Humana. In this role, Roman is responsible for supporting successful value-based provider relationships, with a focus on improving the provider experience and achieving Humana’s path-to-value goals through strategies that develop, support and deploy the best programs, practices and capabilities for assisting Humana’s provider partners and internal customers.

Roman has more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, including serving in executive positions in value-based contracting, managed care, physician practice management and Medicare Advantage (MA) products. Most recently Roman led a multispecialty medical group where the focus was on sustainability as the group simultaneously prepared to transition from fee-for-service to value based. Prior to that, she spent several years developing and expanding MA markets, with a focus on building value-based relationships with local providers.
