About Joseph Lazar, JD

Joseph Lazar is an associate director for MGMA Government Affairs in Washington, D.C. In this position, he represents medical group practices, coordinates grassroots efforts and serves as a regulatory resource for physician group members. Before joining MGMA, Joe was the senior legislative associate for a 2,000-member independent physicians association in New York. Joe has a bachelors’ in political science and economics from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a law degree from American University Washington College of Law.
