    About Jan Ground, PT, MBA
    Jan Ground PT, MBA, has been leading clinicians and other healthcare personnel through change for more than twenty years. She led the virtual care work for the Colorado Permanente Medical Group and was the Innovation Hunter for the Colorado Region of Kaiser Permanente (KPCO). Most of her work supports innovation initiatives to enable people to get care anywhere and providers to provide care from anywhere. Areas of focus have included video visits, remote patient monitoring, e-visits, as well as the use of mobile apps and social media in care delivery. She co-led KPCO’s Emerging Technologies Advisory Group, comprising physicians, IT, health plan and EMR leaders in the region and a KPCO member. She led the Innovation Team of Kaiser Permanente Colorado. The mission of the team was to cultivate the spirit of innovation so that anyone in the organization can effect change that will lead to improved care, member loyalty, and affordability. Jan has trained physicians and staff inside and outside of KP in Innovation, Meeting Management and Leading People through Change.

    Jan has a BA in psychology from Middlebury College, Middlebury, Vermont, and a Masters Degrees in Physical Therapy from Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia and in Exercise Physiology and Business Administration from the University of South Florida, Tampa, Florida. Previous employers include Children’s Hospital National Medical Center (Wash DC), All Children’s Hospital (St. Petersburg, FL), University Community Hospital (Tampa, FL), Lammers+Gershon (Reston, VA), Andersen Consulting (Wash DC), BCBS (Denver, CO).
