About Danielle Stern, MHA
As Director of Strategy Implementation and Senior Consultant for Sutter Shared Services, Danielle Stern is responsible for identification, prioritization, and implementation of strategic objectives and projects. These initiatives are designed to accomplish Sutter Health's goal of leading the transformation of healthcare by achieving the highest levels of quality, access, and affordability. In her role, Danielle oversees a team of consultants that serve as drivers of and liaisons to internal and external project stakeholder groups. She acts as a champion for change by using a data driven approach to strategy implementation, while leveraging a comprehensive set of defined implementation methodologies. Prior to her role in strategy, Danielle served as a Senior Director of Operations leading the implementation and optimization of Sutter Health’s nationally recognized Patient Service Center. Through her experience centralizing healthcare contact center operations and applying lean management principals, Danielle ensures that all business decisions focus on delivering a consistent, efficient, and positive patient experience.Danielle earned her Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California. She is a frequent speaker at national conferences, presenting on topics such as creating and sustaining organizational culture, the patient scheduling and registration function, practice consolidation, and implementing a work-from-home program for agents. Danielle is currently enrolled at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business with a focus on Innovation and Strategic Transformation.
