Melissa Beasley, FACMPE
Missouri

Melissa has contributed her time and energy to the Kansas State Board of MGMA over the past 3 years, and during that time has been a voice of reason and calm during some of our greatest changes.  She goes above and beyond in providing ideas and support to the rest of the board whether it’s from planning our annual spring conference to providing thoughtful insight to future planning of the organization.

Monica Hawthorne,
Mississippi

Monica serves as the MGMA Mississippi Membership Chair. Monica goes above and beyond recruiting new members, hosting local outreach meetings, and spreading the word on the importance of MGMA and the benefits that MGMA Mississippi has to offer within the healthcare community. We are so blessed to have Monica on our team!

Connie Leffler, CMA, FACMPE
Kentucky

Kentucky MGMA would like to recognize Connie Leffler, CMA, FACMPE, for her many years of dedicated and tireless service as the KMGMA ACMPE Forum Representative. Connie has been instrumental in leading many of our colleagues through the certification and fellowship process. Her passion for ACMPE advancement is contagious as she promotes the certification platform, mentors and encourages candidates, hosts the MGMA Bookstore at conferences, and teaches pre-conference ACMPE workshops. KMGMA is grateful for Connie’s commitment and leadership!

Clista Tallent, CMPE
Georgia

Georgia MGMA would like to recognize Clista Tallent, CMPE for our Volunteer Spotlight.  Clista currently serves as Secretary of Georgia MGMA, and has served on the board of officers for the past  5 years.  She is also very active in her local affiliate chapter serving  in various roles over the years. Her  kindness, intelligence, and ambition shine through, making a positive impact on those around her.  Clista is the Practice Administrator of North Georgia Urology Center in Dalton GA. She and her husband Chris have two sons Porter and Lincoln.  They enjoy riding dirt bikes as a family.

Michelle Wallace, FACMPE
North Carolina

Michelle Wallace, FACMPE, deserves recognition for her exceptional volunteerism with NCMGMA this year. Serving as the chair of ACMPE since 2017 and actively contributing to the conference committee, she consistently pitches in whenever and wherever needed. Her steadfast dedication, spanning from her membership since 2009 to her current role as President-Elect, exemplifies her unwavering commitment to our organization.
