MGMA submitted comments to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in response to Medicare enrollment proposals included in the Calendar Year 2027 Home Health Prospective Payment System (HH PPS) Rate Update proposed rule. MGMA urged CMS to withdraw sweeping Medicare enrollment proposals as their cumulative effect would be significant and detrimental to medical group operations. In addition to our individual comment letter, MGMA joined other provider organizations in a joint letter urging CMS to reconsider the proposed changes.
