    What is Fellowship?

    A Fellow in the American College of Medical Practice Executives (FACMPE) is the most prestigious designation you can earn in the medical practice management profession. It signifies superior standards of performance and professional competency and encourages ongoing personal and professional development in the field.

    The objective of Fellowship is to demonstrate leadership, innovation, and professional engagement in the healthcare industry and the advancement of medical group management.

    How do you get started?

    To apply to the Fellowship program and to work toward obtaining the FACMPE designation, you must:

    1. Be a current member of MGMA.
    2. Hold the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) designation in active and good standing.
    3. Currently hold a bachelor's degree and 5 years of healthcare experience, OR a master's degree or higher and 3 years of healthcare experience.
    4. Pay a one-time $365 Fellowship program application fee. The link to the application will be sent to you once we have received the application fee. Once your application fee and application form are received, we will contact you by email within 15 business days to confirm entrance into the program.
