This member-exclusive webinar – scheduled for September 1, 2026, at 1 pm ET (12 pm CT, 11 am MT, 10 am PT) – is eligible for ACMPE, ACHE (live only), CPE (live only), PDC (live only) and CEU credit, and will be made available as a recording.

This past March, the federal department of Health and Human Services (HHS) finalized a long-awaited rule establishing standards for electronic claims attachments and for electronic signatures when used in connection with the attachments. For medical groups, the rule has important revenue cycle implications, with the potential to improve the efficiency of claims processing and payment workflows. The rule applies to HIPAA-covered entities and requires those that conduct electronic claims attachment transactions to comply by May 2028. In this webinar, you’ll learn how to prepare your practice for any necessary operational changes and receive practical examples of how the requirements can benefit your practice.

This 60-minute member-exclusive webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:

    • Understand the applicability, requirements, key changes, and implementation timeline of the new rule
    • Identify how the rule can provide value to your practice, support revenue cycle efficiency, and how best to prepare with specific action items
    • Explore available resources and learn from practice examples
