    Senior Director, CDI and Coding Operations, Conifer Health Solutions

    Kimberly McKenney joined Conifer Health in 2021 as Senior Director of CDI and Coding Operations. In her role, Kimberly develops KPIs and engineers processes that ensure the physician-led CDI team exceeds metrics and achieves optimal performance while adhering to regulatory compliance requirements. She implements best practices to assist national team managers in meeting or exceeding operational metrics, including coding requirements defined in client service level agreements. Kimberly energetically establishes, builds and expands relationships with clients to deliver a complete coding solution. 

    Kimberly has 19 years of experience in RCM, covering both physician and hospital. In addition to Physician Coding and CDI Operations, she has held numerous RCM leadership positions overseeing Hospital and Physician Billing, Clinical Denials, Coding Quality, Emergency Department Coding, and Outpatient Facility Coding. Her experience includes multi-hospital organizations, which include critical access and academic health centers, as well as multispecialty medical groups. Prior to joining Conifer, Kimberly spent almost 10 years working for Indiana University Health, focusing on their revenue cycle, a period which culminated as a Director in their Revenue Cycle Services division. She then spent nearly six years as a Director of Coding Operations and Coding Quality with Healthcare Administrative Partners.

    Additionally, Kimberly is passionate about developing people. She is an experienced leader of teams sometimes exceeding 300 people, including global workforces. She tasks her teams to meet changing and challenging business demands, while focusing on continuous process improvement and optimization. She is also recognized as a Certified Coding Specialist and a Registered Health information Administrator through AHIMA.

    Vice President, Coding and Clinical Documentation Integrity, Conifer Health Solutions

    Chloe Phillips has been with Conifer Health in various leadership roles since 2016. In 2021, she was promoted to Vice President of Clinical Revenue Integrity Coding and Clinical Documentation Integrity. In this role, she oversees areas of client performance and experience, coding and clinical documentation integrity for the Hospital Revenue Cycle Management business unit for all clients. She is also directly responsible for all aspects of clinical documentation integrity, coding, and data governance in the acute care setting.

    Chloe’s entire professional career has been in healthcare, and she now has more than 20 years of experience built up in Healthcare Information Management (HIM), coding, and revenue cycle. Prior to joining Conifer, she spent nearly nine years as Middle Revenue Cycle System Director for Brookwood Baptist Health, a medical center in Birmingham, Alabama, where she was responsible for all activities related to HIM and revenue integrity. Before taking on her current role at Conifer she was our Senior Director of HIM Services.

    A strong manager with a significant track record in providing leadership, strategic planning, and influencing value in healthcare revenue cycle management, Chloe is a member in good standing with AHIMA, AAHIM, and HFMA. She specializes in change management, helping ensure that her team remains on the cutting edge of leading practices, whether in HIM operations, coding, or clinical documentation integrity.
