    Vice President Ben Gerhold leads Conifer’s Hospital RCM AR operations, directing enterprise-wide cash collections and overseeing a large-scale workforce that drives financial performance across all AR functions for clients. In this role, he partners closely with client executives to ensure strategic alignment, operational excellence, and measurable outcomes that consistently exceed expectations. His role emphasizes building trusted partnerships and positioning Conifer as a market leader in revenue cycle management.

    A 22-year Conifer veteran, Ben has held senior leadership roles in both Client Delivery and Performance. His broad-based experience provides him with a comprehensive view of operational challenges and the ability to design innovative, forward-looking solutions. Known for his creative problem-solving and results-driven leadership, Ben is a valued and strategic partner to both clients and internal stakeholders.

    Throughout his career, Ben has successfully onboarded and integrated countless new clients into Conifer’s platform, led multiple organizations through complex system conversions and upgrades, and managed AR functions at the hospital level. His ability to scale operations while delivering sustained results underscores his reputation as a trusted leader in the healthcare revenue cycle space.

    Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in business administration from DeVry University and studied Mechanical Engineering at the University of New Orleans.
