Hiring a Nurse Coordinator: A Financial Management Plan of a New Hospital Owned Ambulatory Surgical Center and How to Justify and Hire an Un-Budgeted Position
This plan outlines the proposal for hiring a Nurse Coordinator in an ambulatory clinical setting. The nurse will not generate any excess revenue and the clinic has been told by hospital leadership they cannot hire this position unless they can prove ways the clinic will generate more revenue or cut expenses to pay for the salary. It will be the Administrator and the Nurse Manager’s responsibility to make sure that this plan is carried out and that this salary is covered 100% by either cutting costs or increasing revenues.
