Howdy! Our daily newsletters are your head start to each day of the conference, loaded with our editor's picks on educational sessions and a quick guide to networking and social events. Read on!
To familiarize yourself with everything the conference has to offer, your best first step is to download the MGMA Events app and log in with your registration ID to create your own schedule, connect with your fellow attendees and much more. In-depth, immersive workshops, at no extra charge
Included in your registration are our slate of in-depth workshops beginning at 1 p.m., covering topics such as value-based care strategies, women in healthcare and mentoring, and benchmarking for operational excellence. For example:
- "Design Your Strategic RCM Workplan," 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Room 205ABC): Kem Tolliver and Taya Gordon, hosts of the RevDive podcast, lead a three-hour, interactive exploration of strategic planning concepts to apply to your revenue cycle management (RCM) workplan. The workshop will factor in lessons learned from the pandemic and emerging healthcare workforce, patient care, reimbursement, technology and regulatory trends. Later today, Tolliver and Gordon will be signing copies of their new book, Advanced Strategy for Medical Practice Leaders: Financial Management Edition, in the Solution Center. - "What Physicians Don't Get Taught in Medical School: Turning Clinicians into Better Business Partners," 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. (Room 209ABC): Join a team of experts from Johns Hopkins Medicine as they explore how to quickly and effectively train physicians in the fundamentals of medical practice operations, revenue cycle and more.
New here? New Member and First-Time Attendee Meet-up and Lunch, 12:00 - 1:00 p.m. (Room 104ABC)
From noon to 1 p.m., first-time conference attendees and new MGMA members are invited to join MGMA staff and industry leaders in Room 104ABC to learn about the top benefits and resources to make the most out of your conference experience and membership!
Solution Center Grand Ol' Opening, 4 to 6 p.m. (Halls AB)
Welcome gifts are at the door, and some tasty Nashville food and drinks await you on the floor — and it wouldn't be Music City without some tunes to match. Connect with trusted solution providers at their booths, and visualize the future of healthcare with sessions in the ImageThink Tanks. Don't forget to grab a Daily Cash Dash Map and visit Sunday's participants to collect tickets (read more about the Daily Cash Dash below).

Daily Cash Dash
The Daily Cash Dash is your chance to cash in! Pick up a Cash Dash Map each day when you enter the Solution Center, visit the exhibitors on the map and collect cash dash tickets. Return five (5) tickets for your daily entry at the Cash Dash Station on the Solution Center floor. We'll announce the daily winner on the event app and the overhead speaker at Solution Center close each evening.
The Bark Park
