The administrative contact designation is intended for those states that have no paid or volunteer state staff member. It does not apply to states that share a staff person. Guideline The state staff or state appointed administrative contact is responsible for coordinating and disseminating information going to and coming from his or her state MGMA. Both positions are entitled to attend the state staff open forum sessions at the MGMA State Leadership Conference and to attend the Council of State Leaders (COSL) meetings at the MGMA Annual Conference. Individuals in these positions must be willing to be a first point of contact for MGMA staff members and be responsible for distributing all information from MGMA.
