The treatment landscape for early Alzheimer’s disease is evolving in front of us. As long-awaited pharmaceuticals become available, understanding the disposition of older adults toward early detection of dementia – knowledge of symptoms and modifiable risk factors, openness to testing, and receptivity to treatment – will be crucial.

Join us to learn real patient perspectives on the current state of cognitive assessments and dementia prevention in primary care today. We’ll explore key findings from a new cognitive-health focused survey of 1,000 U.S. adults age 65 and older and their implications for primary care practices. Survey participants responded to questions regarding preferred timing of identifying a cognitive impairment, openness to lifestyle and pharmaceutical interventions, and personal experiences with their PCPs.

This 60-minute webinar will provide you with the knowledge to:

    • Discover the benefits of early detection of dementia on patient care and the implications of projected patient demand for testing and treatment for practices and health systems
    • Employ best practices for supporting patients through intervention options
    • Produce strategies for closing current cognitive care gaps
