Provider credentialing is a time-consuming and complicated process. Without a proper foundation of accurate credentialing, revenue can be lost or delayed, liabilities can emerge, and the organization’s bottom line can be negatively impacted — not to mention bottlenecks on healthcare professionals’ time, as well as coverage and referral issues. In this online event, the presenters will guide attendees through best practices for information technology and human resources considerations for the credentialing process. American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE) 

This program is approved as a live learning event for ACMPE continuing education hours. A cumulative total of 50 ACMPE continuing education credit hours is among the requirements for attaining the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential. To maintain CMPE or Fellow status, you must earn 50 hours of qualifying credit hours every three years, of which 30 hours must come from MGMA national, state or local offerings, including 12 from a live learning event.

ACHE Qualified Education 
By attending the Online Seminar: Provider Credentialing 360: Tools and Knowledge to Maximize Your Revenue offered by the Medical Group Management Association, participants may earn up to 3 ACHE Qualified Education Hour toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation. 

One ACHE credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational content, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.

Part I: Streamlining Provider Onboarding and Credentialing

Les Jebson serves as an executive with Texas A&M Health. In this role, he serves as the inter-professional practice plan administrator. Les is tasked with leveraging the collective clinical expertise of Texas A&M Health's five health science colleges to design and implement novel and sustainable care delivery models throughout the state.  In addition to his fellowships in The American College of Healthcare Executives and the American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE), Les is also a Certified Healthcare Risk Manager. He has served as a guest faculty instructor for several universities and advisor to healthcare professional organizations. He has more than 100 authored healthcare publications and national speaking engagements on healthcare organizational improvement.
