Provider credentialing is a time-consuming and complicated process. In this online event, the presenters will guide attendees through best practices for information technology and human resources considerations for the credentialing process. They will also provide interactive provider templates and tracking tools that attendees can apply to their practice.

This 3-hour program will provide you with the knowledge to:
  • Assess challenges and opportunities in new provider onboarding and payer credentialing processes
  • Evaluate process streamlining and technology adoption options that expedite credentialing administrative processes
  • Determine a new approach for standardized credentialing processes

Part II: Tools and Best Practices for Streamlining the Credentialing Process
Joanie Cochran, BSM, CPC, CPCO, CRC, CEO, Revenue Cycle Innovations, LLC

Credentialing can be a very cumbersome and time-consuming process for a medical practice. It can also be a huge headache for compliance departments and a major challenge for healthcare organizations. Credentialing applications frequently include inaccurate, missing, or out-of-date information; some of those mistakes can be as minor as an inaccurate address or phone number. These problems can create a bottleneck in the credentialing process. This interactive presentation will share tools and best practices for improving the overall credentialing process within your practice — because a day without proper credentialing could be a day without revenue.
