Part II: Tools and Best Practices for Streamlining the Credentialing Process
Joanie Cochran, BSM, CPC, CPCO, CRC, CEO, Revenue Cycle Innovations, LLC
Credentialing can be a very cumbersome and time-consuming process for a medical practice. It can also be a huge headache for compliance departments and a major challenge for healthcare organizations. Credentialing applications frequently include inaccurate, missing, or out-of-date information; some of those mistakes can be as minor as an inaccurate address or phone number. These problems can create a bottleneck in the credentialing process. This interactive presentation will share tools and best practices for improving the overall credentialing process within your practice — because a day without proper credentialing could be a day without revenue.
Joanie is a seasoned healthcare consultant with more than 25 years’ experience serving healthcare providers of all practice sizes. She assists practices with startup, credentialing and revenue cycle management.
