This visit (encounter) growth calculator is intended to be used to determine how many additional patient visits per month and/or day a provider needs to see in order to achieve the 50th or 75th percentiles of MGMA productivity based on worked RVUs. You can alternatively enter any wRVU target amount in the 50th and 75th percentile fields and it will tell you how may visits are needed to achieve that goal based on your average wRVU per visit. This makes it easy for clinicians and administrators to quantify exactly what it will take to achieve the next level of productivity in a method beyond how many additional wRVUs are needed alone. Benchmarking and data is critical for the continued growth and success of any practice and this tool helps you to utilize industry leading data to achieve those goals.
