Medical practices are implementing telehealth services to stay competitive by providing easier, virtual access. Yet many telehealth services fail at the implementation stage by confusing the true purpose of delivering care at a distance. Telehealth is not just a technology implementation. It entails the selection, design and launch of a new clinical service offering to serve a specific patient population need. When successful, this process helps ensure the financial, operational and cultural sustainability of the new telehealth service. In this interactive online seminar, attendees will learn how to implement telehealth services using a proven, pragmatic approach, drawn from case studies and the presenters’ experiences across numerous urban and rural health settings.
This online seminar will provide you with the knowledge to:
  • Determine a successful plan for design and implementation of new telehealth services
  • Evaluate staffing for the delivery and operational/technical support of telehealth
  • Establish best practices in billing for telehealth across all payors
