AI software company partners with providers to triage patients to appropriate care

Buoy Health has created a AI database that walks patients through a flow chart based on their symptoms and recommends appropriate level of treatment. The service also provides a list of emergency room, urgent care and primary care providers that match their recommended level of treatment. The company has formed partnerships with several healthcare systems, including CVS.

"We can change a patient's intent and educate them on how to get care outside of the ER, if needed, and into lower-acuity, more affordable options," Le said. "There are so many opportunities for Buoy and CVS to make the patient experience better." Buoy co-founder and CEO Andrew Le said.
