MGMA urges CMS to suspend draft PAMA laboratory payment rates

Summary:

MGMA partnered with 22 organizations representing all segments of the laboratory market in a letter urging The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to delay implementation of draft Medicare Clinical Laboratory Fee Schedule (CLFS) rates under the Protecting Access to Medicare Act (PAMA) of 2014 that are set to go into effect on Jan. 1, 2018.
