LEARNING LEVELS

  • Basic/Overview: Education designed to improve your recall and general understanding of a topic or knowledge area.
  • Intermediate: Education designed to improve your application and analysis skills in order to develop a working knowledge of a topic or knowledge area and build on a basic curriculum.
  • Advanced: Education designed to improve your problem-solving skills and develop in-depth expertise in a topic or knowledge area.

LEARNING FORMATS

Traditional

Traditional sessions feature either a speaker sharing his or her knowledge in a lecture-style presentation or a panel of speakers with a moderator facilitating discussion. Traditional sessions include limited question-and-answer time with the audience.

Interactive

An expert facilitator guides participants through interactive learning formats such as hot-topic discussions; round-table discussions; or case study applications designed to foster sharing of ideas, solutions and best practices.

PREREQUISITES

  • Basic/Overview: No prerequisites
  • Intermediate: A fundamental knowledge of medical group practice management.
  • Advanced: A working knowledge of medical group practice management.

ADVANCE PREPARATION

No advance preparation is required for any education session unless specified.  

OFFICIAL CONTINUING EDUCATION STATEMENTS

ACMPE Continuing Education CreditsAmerican College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE):

This program has the prior approval of ACMPE continuing education hours. A cumulative total of 50 ACMPE continuing education credit hours is among the requirements for advancement to Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) status. Once you have advanced to CMPE or Fellow status, you must earn and submit 50 hours of qualifying credit hours every three years to maintain your designation.

One ACMPE credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational contact, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.

ACHE Qualified Education: 

By attending MGMA19 | The Financial Conference offered by the Medical Group Management Association, participants may earn up to 17.5 ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial
certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.

One ACHE credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational content, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.
 

CPE CreditsContinuing Professional Education (CPE):

To be granted CPE credit, you are required to record the unique session code for every educational session that you attend. If you do not record the code, you will not be granted CPE credit for that session. Every session code is unique.  


 

Continuing Education Units (CEU)

A certificate of attendance will be provided to healthcare professionals requesting generic CEUs for professional development, certifications though other professional associations or specialty societies. 

One CEU credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational contact, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.
