Claiming Credit

Required Exam

If you wish to claim the following credit, you must first attend the webinar, then pass the associated exam with a score of 80% or higher. Registration is required for BOTH the webinar and the exam.

NOTE: The exam will be made available four hours after the live webinar ends.
 
  • ACMPE, medical practice administrators in certification and Fellowship through ACMPE
    • Exam must be completed no later than: Nov. 27, 2020
  • ACHE, American College of Healthcare Executives Qualified Education
    • Attendance at the live webinar
    • Exam must be completed no later than: Nov. 27, 2020
  • CPE, continuing professional education for accountants
    • Attendance at the live webinar

After you register for the exam, instructions on how to access the exam will be emailed to you.
 

Team

Participants who want to claim continuing education credit must be individually registered for the webinar and subsequent exam. If participants would like to attend the webinar as a team using one person’s log-in credentials, the person who launched the webinar will need to email a list (first and last names) of all participants to continuinged@mgma.com after the webinar has concluded. MGMA will mark these individuals’ status as “completed” within five business days to allow each team participant to claim his or her desired continuing education credit.
 

Official Continuing Education Statements and Availability

American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE)

ACMPE credit continues to be a free member benefit and is available to registered webinar attendees who purchase and complete both the webinar and exam.

A cumulative total of 50 ACMPE continuing education credit hours is among the requirements for advancement to Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) status. Once you have advanced to CMPE or Fellow status, you must earn and submit 50 hours of qualifying credit hours every three years to maintain your designation.

American College of Healthcare Executives Qualified Education (ACHE)

ACHE credit is available to registered webinar attendees who purchase and complete both the live webinar and exam. By attending the “Telehealth From Scratch: A Deep Dive into Planning and Implementation” webinar offered by the Medical Group Management Association, participants may earn up to 1 ACHE Qualified Education Hours toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.

One ACHE credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational content, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.



Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

CPE credit for certified public accountants (CPAs) is available to registered webinar attendees who purchase and complete both the live webinar and exam. 

MGMA-ACMPE is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.nasbaregistry.org
  • In accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. CPE credits have been granted based on a 50-minute hour. Rounded down to the nearest 0.5.

Rachel Dixon is experienced in the clinical, operational, and technological implementation of tele-based modes of care delivery. She specializes in Medicaid-focused services, and has worked with numerous provider organizations to successfully design, implement and maintain virtual collaborative care in various settings including primary care, community mental health center, and residential. She also has expertise in the Medicaid payer space, and her work has given her an in-depth understanding of payer, primary care, specialist, mental health, and community perspectives.

She has nine years of experience in consulting, program development, and product and program management roles, ensuring satisfaction and success to a diverse set of clients. Rachel is an energetic leader in the healthcare innovation field with experience in strategic planning, program development, implementation, management, web technologies, product management, and organizational development. Rachel is interested in the variations and commonalities of how some of today’s most complex healthcare challenges are experienced across the continuum of care.
