Claiming Credit:
If you wish to claim continuing education credit, you must first attend the webinar and pass the associated exam with a score of 80% or higher.
 
Registration is required for BOTH the webinar and the exam.
 
  • ACMPE, medical practice administrators in certification and Fellowship through ACMPE
    • Exam must be completed no later than: June 26, 2020
  • ACHE, American College of Healthcare Executives Qualified Education
    • Attendance at the live instructor lead program
    • Exam must be completed no later than: June 26, 2020
  • CME, licensed physicians (MD/DO)
    • Exam must be completed no later than: June 26, 2020 
  • CPE, Continuing Professional Education for accountants

Team Participation:
Participants who want to claim continuing education credit must be individually registered for the webinar and subsequent exam. If registered participants attend as a team, the person who launched the webinar will need to email a list (first and last names) of all participants to continuinged@mgma.com after the webinar has concluded. Each participant will be required to complete the exam under his/her own account.  
 
Team participation is not allowed to claim CME credit for this program.

 American College of Medical Practice Executives (ACMPE)
 
This program is approved as a live learning event for ACMPE continuing education hours. A cumulative total of 50 ACMPE continuing education credit hours is among the requirements for attaining the Certified Medical Practice Executive (CMPE) credential. To maintain CMPE or Fellow status, you must earn 50 hours of qualifying credit hours every three years, of which 30 hours must come from MGMA national, state or local offerings, including 12 from a live learning event.

By attending A Value-Based Care Roadmap for Independent Primary Care Physicians webinar offered by the Medical Group Management Association, participants may earn up to 1 ACHE Qualified Education Hour toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
 
One ACHE credit is earned for every 60 minutes of educational content, rounded down to the nearest 0.25.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME). The Medical Group Management Association is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
 
The Medical Group Management Association designates this live activity for a maximum of 1 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™. Physicians should claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Dr. Ryan Knopp is a native of Chapman, Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Kansas and his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine. After completing his family medicine residency through the KU Med Rural Residency Program, he joined Stonecreek Family Physicians in 2003. Dr. Knopp loves going to work every day and practicing the full spectrum of family medicine. He is passionate about improving the quality of patient care at Stonecreek through working with Aledade Accountable Care Organization (ACO). Outside of his work, Dr. Knopp enjoys running, hiking, vacations in Colorado, playing guitar and spending time with his wife Erika and three children.

Exam cancellation requests must be received prior to the start time of the live program to be eligible for a full refund. Fees cannot be refunded after the live program has started.
