Compliance Regulations

SKU: F1015
This automated eBook is designed to expedite HIPAA compliance in your medical practice, generating all applicable forms in the time it takes to enter practice information (avg 10 min with collected information.)

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) of 1996 is a wide-ranging law that sets national standards for identifiers, transactions, claims attachments, health data privacy, security and medical records. The MGMA HIPAA Outpatient Practices Policies and Procedures Toolkit is designed to help you meet those standards through the creation of a HIPAA compliance manual.

In this web-based fillable form book, there are two steps to completing the documentation that will ultimately comprise the manual.

Step one involves a web-based form that inserts your practice’s information into the manual that is delivered in a customized document. Step two involves assessing and documenting your practice’s management of recognized security risks with document templates provided in the completion kit.

More than 20 HIPAA privacy and HIPAA security tools and patient communication templates are included in Word format.

The MGMA HIPAA Outpatient Practice Policies and Procedures Toolkit provides information on:
Privacy officer job description
Protected Health Information (PHI) policy
Breach Identification assessment
Breach Notification procedures
