When developing a physician compensation plan, the focus rests primarily on full-time physicians.
However, a practice’s plan should also address those cases where physicians will not be practicing full-time in clinical practice (pre-retirement, part time or flex time) and/or when their duties extend beyond a traditional practice model, adding administrative duties, supervising/collaborating with allied health professionals, or being excused from call coverage.
Consultant, speaker, author and physician policies expert Marshall Baker will address these tough physician compensation issues in this Webinar.
Following this 60-minute Webinar, you will be able to
- Craft a structured, on-point message to implement physician compensation policies that address situations where the physician is not involved full time in a traditional clinical practice
- Recognize and reward administrative duties – governance, new market development, mentoring, committee activities – that impact the physicians’ available time for patient care
- Refine your tactics for communicating and building consensus for consideration of these enhancements to the group’s physician compensation methodology
