ACMPE Scholarship Fund Program

The ACMPE Scholarship Fund Inc. (SFI) is comprised of 10 scholarships with each having its own, unique, eligibility criteria. It supports and promotes healthcare leaders' personal and professional growth toward the advancement of the profession. The program supports individuals who, by virtue of experience, current position and plans demonstrate potential for contributing to the medical practice management profession. More about SFI.

Applications will be considered for all scholarships available. A separate application must be submitted for the Richardson-Sargent grant.

Individuals who demonstrate potential for contributing to the medical practice management profession in the specialty of oncology/hematology residing in either Ohio or West Virginia for at least 12 months prior to applying for the scholarship. |

Eligibility
Applicants must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management, including public health, business administration, healthcare administration and other related areas.The scholarships are not intended to support individuals pursuing degrees in:
- medicine
- physical therapy
- nursing or
- other clinically related professions
If you are interested in applying for grants through the new Richardson-Sargent Memorial Fund, applicants must be ACMPE participants interested in Fellowship who are pursuing relevant professional development and continuing education through attendance at conferences, workshops and seminars sponsored by nationally recognized professional associations.
Application Process
The application deadline for 2012 scholarships has passed. To be eligible to receive a scholarship award in 2013, students must be enrolled in a degree program for the 2013-2014 academic year. Applications are available in January of each year, and the application deadline is May 1.
Award Amounts
Scholarship award amounts range from $1,000 to $5,000. Payments for undergraduate and graduate scholarships are sent directly to the university or college in which the individual is or will be enrolled.*
Notification Process
While applicants are notified in writing by August of each year if they have been selected to receive a scholarship, there may be occasional exceptions. Any additional recognition pertinent to a particular scholarship will be detailed at the time of selection. Scholarship recipients will be asked to provide a black and white photograph.
