MGMA members identified top management challenges in MGMA’s fourth annual Medical Practice Today: What members have to say research. A full analysis of this unique research is published in the July 2011 issue of MGMA Connexion magazine.
"Preparing for reimbursement models that place a greater share of financial risk on the practice” was cited as the number one challenge for MGMA members in 2011, according to the research. Operational issues dominate the top five challenges, while financial/compensation and recruitment issues round out the top 10. Respondents described these issues as considerable or extreme challenges.
