New PQRS report outlines measure trends and 2017 penalties

Summary:

Last week, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released the 2015 PQRS Experience Report, which details PQRS participation trends in 2015 and earlier. Overall participation increased 14% from 2014. However, many physicians and group practices still opted not to participate due to a lack of clinical relevance and undue administrative burden.
