GAO recommends streamlining quality measure reporting


In a new report, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) recommends the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) reduce quality repoting burden by prioritizing alignment of health care quality measures across programs and private payers, as well as developing more meaningful measures.
