Get one-on-one guidance, assistance and support through the Fellowship process by requesting a Fellowship mentor.

Your mentor is a Fellow who serves on the ACMPE Professional Papers Committee and has experience working with authors, including assistance with topic development, drafting an outline, critiquing and editing submissions.

Fellowship mentors can help you as you start your Fellowship journey. They can assist with:

  • Deciding between writing a professional paper or three case studies
  • Identifying options for topics
  • Conceptualizing and organizing a clear and comprehensive approach to the development of an outline or manuscript

Fellowship mentors can also assist you if you’re having difficulty with the Fellowship requirement by identifying and working through problem areas and helping you understand revisions requested by the ACMPE Professional Papers Committee.

Fellowship submission checklists

Use the ACMPE professional paper and case study checklists to make sure you include all necessary information in your paper outline(s) or case study outline(s) and manuscript(s). The checklists contain elements that the ACMPE Professional Papers Committee looks for when reviewing paper or case study submissions.

Sample outline submissions

View sample paper and case study outlines written by ACMPE Fellows. These submissions follow the correct format and contain all the required elements. Use these as a guide for what should be included in an outline.

ACMPE Professional Papers Committee Feedback

The ACMPE Professional Papers Committee provides valuable feedback on your outline and manuscript submissions. The submission process is interactive and developmental. Committee members provide direction to improve your work. Incorporating the committee's feedback into your paper or case study is integral in the acceptance of your outline or manuscript on your next submission.
