John Foley's dream of carving up the skies as a Blue Angels pilot began as he stood as a child alongside his father at an air show, watching the elite United States Navy flight-demonstration squadron. Years later, through persistence, hard work and the will to overcome obstacles, Foley achieved his dream as a Blue Angels lead solo pilot in an F/A-18 Hornet.

Foley was already an elite aviator when he joined the Blues, earned by spending thousands of hours as a carrier pilot and an instructor pilot. But to perform with this team – flying at speeds of more than 500 miles per hour and in formations as close as 18 inches away from teammates in other planes – required levels of performance beyond anything he'd done before. "What I learned most from being with the Blue Angels had nothing to do with flying itself," Foley says. "I learned the process of engaging at this high level, when my very life depended on successful communication, accurate information, trust and follow through."

Today, he is founder and chief executive officer of CenterPoint Companies, providing in-depth training on high performance. He is also founder of the Glad To Be Here Foundation, which administers a giving-forward program that partners with clients to make donations to worthy charities. He lives in Sun Valley, Idaho.

George F. Will is one of today's most widely read columnists, having written a twice-weekly column syndicated by the Washington Post since 1974. From 1976 to 2011, he was also a regular contributing editor for Newsweek magazine. Will has published eight collections of his columns, including the most recent, One Man's America: The Pleasures and Provocations of Our Singular Nation, in 2008. In 1977, he won a Pulitzer Prize for Commentary. In 1981, he joined ABC News' "This Week with David Brinkley," now called "This Week with George Stephanopoulos," as a founding panelist, on which he continues to appear.

Will, who is one of America's foremost political commentators, is also an avid baseball fan. He has written extensively on the sport, in such books as Men at Work: The Craft of Baseball, which topped the New York Times bestseller list for two months and was reissued in 2010 as a 20th-anniversary special edition. A collection of new and previously published baseball-themed writings by Will, Bunts: Curt Flood, Camden Yards, Pete Rose and Other Reflections on Baseball, was published in 1998. He served on Major League Baseball's Blue Ribbon Panel, which examined baseball economics.

Having earned his PhD from Princeton University, Will has taught political philosophy at Michigan State University, the University of Toronto and Harvard University.
