Participate in the MGMA Congressional Site Visit Campaign!

Congress will soon enter its Washington recess and begin a district work period from August 4 to September 9. This is a great time to invite your member of Congress to visit your practice! We encourage Association members to participate in the MGMA Congressional Site Visit Campaign by hosting a congressional visit at your practice. Inviting your legislator to visit your practice will provide a unique opportunity to show them firsthand the impact of government actions on the healthcare industry. What's more, these visits can help you establish a vital relationship with the lawmaker and his or her staff - which is a keystone to successful advocacy.

Visit mgma.com/site-visit for more information on how to set up a site visit, advocacy resources and a leave-behind document outlining key issues of concern for medical practices, including Medicare physician payment instability, administrative simplification and Medicare quality reporting burdens. Your knowledge and experience of how healthcare truly works will be invaluable to your lawmaker, your practice and MGMA advocacy efforts.
